In cold regions everyday use of nourishing herbs has always been a tradition. Throughout the centuries wild herbs have been used in tea, in cooking or pharmaceutically. The monks used them medicinally to treat people as well as animals, and the Vikings brought them along on their months long expeditions. The Greenlanders have used them to treat colds and flus for many generations. They still do!
